WE BELIEVE IN YOUNG PEOPLE

There are so many distractions for young people today that can draw their focus away from things that truly matter in the scope of eternity. While sports and employment may be beneficial, their lasting importance pales when compared to the great commission given to us by Christ.

  • “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15

Our desire is to train these young men and women while they still have the time to devote their summers for reaching others. We challenge everyone that attends our institute to become a “summer missionary” – reaching boys and girls throughout their cities and towns with the gospel. Our week-long training institute doesn’t have some of the more traditional “fun” activities associated with “camp” – instead we focus on providing tiered levels of training taught by instructors with a heart for ministry and a passion for seeing lost children come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Our hope is that these young people will strengthen their desire to serve God with their lives and realize the importance of living their lives in a manner that will honor and please God.

“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Philippians 1:20-21

S.M.I.T.E. 2024- May 26-31

Consider being part of this powerful week and helping us reach this next generation with the Good News of salvation. There is such a need for everyone to get involved in reaching boys, girls, men and women for Christ.

“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” – Matthew 9:37-38
